No Giving Up.

Hello beautiful friends.

We love you.

The winter months have set in here in Nelson, and I can say with a heavy honesty that it has been a rough couple of months smothered in grey clouds, wet streets, and dim days. We are still here though, and we are still fighting. There is no giving up. It is not an option.

Kristin and I have not been able to spend as much time together in the last few months, unfortunately, as I have had to return to work to start rebuilding my arts & media company that I have long neglected since Covid hit. We have continued to do some filming here and there, however, and have spent some days sifting and sorting through paperwork to find things for the film, and for her medical files. It was not an easy task to read through some of the old letters, reviews, and write ups from medical professionals during the early days of Kristin's injury. It will make for a great addition to the film, however it was a hard day on our hearts.

The world seems to be standing still in relation to these injuries, as far as awareness and medical advancements are concerned. We continue to hold hope that things will shift in the future. There are good humans out there doing great things...and just maybe one of them is fighting for us, too.

This week we are gearing up for some more interviewing for the film, starting tomorrow. We have teamed up with local videographer Carla Sinclair, of Empty Cup Media, and are excited about having a powerful "girl team" in full force. I have had a few brain storming and story boarding sessions with Carla, and she is full of amazing ideas and inspiration. Her bright energy has helped refuel my creativity and I am very much looking forward to working with her further.

We well keep you updated as there is more progress. Keep watching! Keep talking about it!
