June with Us

Jaimie Killen

We were so lucky to get to spend the majority of June with these two snuggly humans, Kristin's dad Chris, and stepmom Nancy. They arrived from Ontario just days after our return from Utah, and we have been soaking up every minute we can with them.

Sadly, they flew out this morning and we had to say goodbye. Our visit was full of laughter, walks, home projects, and hugs. It was perfect.

In the midst of all that, we have been running a raffle to raise more funds for the film. It is going until the end of the month. If you live in the Nelson area, we are selling tickets to win a Schwinn Cruiser bike, a Loom handmade by Kristin, a $100 GC from Rel-ish Bistro, and a facial mask. Check out our social pages for more info, or email me at jaimiekillen@heartwoodmedia.ca. The winning draw will be on July 1st!

If you haven't had a chance to check out our interview with Vaccine Choice Canada, the link can be found here:

Vaccine Choice Canada Interview - Invisible Fences

I've been chatting over the last couple of months with a fellow BC friend who has been busy networking to create and launch his own media platform, the Freedom Network, where he will be showcasing various podcasts, videos, music, live events & more on a site that is free of censorship. If you, or someone you know, may be interested in having their content listed, please get in touch with me and I can connect you. It will be ready to launch soon! I would like to extend a huge thank you to Gary for reaching out to me, and for all of his support with the creation and production of Invisible Fences. I see a lot ahead for us, and it is very exciting.

Gary was also kind enough to connect me with Shaun Newman of the Shawn Newman Podcast, who will be hosting Kristin and I on the 29th for an interview. Stay tuned for more information on that.

We are working on some website updates still, which will eventually include the ability to donate points to our project. We have had some inquires regarding this, and we are happy to include this in our donations section to assist us in our travel expenses. If you have air points you would like to donate, stay tuned! I will announce when we all set up.

Lastly, I apologize for not providing an update sooner - life has been hectic. I have been working on a more personal blog about my journey and was hoping to share it with you this week, however it is not quite ready. I hope to do a few of these here and there if I can spare the time, as I want to really connect with you all and bring you into our lives and hearts as much as I can. Having you along with us is what holds us up, and keeps us moving forward.

We love you!

Love & light,

Jaimie, Kristin & Nate
